Admin Panel

The Admin Panel is where you administer your Nussknacker Cloud instance and account. To open it, click your avatar (user menu) in the Designer and choose Admin. The item is shown only where the instance is administered from such a panel, which is the case in Nussknacker Cloud.

Integrations are no longer configured in the Admin Panel. Open Integrations from the Designer's side menu instead - see Integrations overview.

Functionality​

The Admin Panel contains the following sections. If your account has more than one instance, pick the instance in the header first. The profile menu (top right) holds your account Settings, Upgrade and Logout; the icon next to it shows your plan (Pro or Pro Trial).

Dashboard​

This is the default landing view in the Admin Panel. It provides a summary of:

  • Status: number of scenarios currently running.
  • Event processing: number of events received and processed in the past hour and 24 hours.
  • Service metrics: throughput and error data (if available).
  • Resources: links to documentation and a short overview video.

Settings​

This section has three parts:

  • HTTP Security - how events are sent to your topics over HTTP: No authorization or Basic Auth. With Basic Auth the user is always publisher and the HTTP Password is what you set. Trusted domain pattern is a regex of the domains a browser may publish from, or open the WebSocket from (it goes into the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header).
  • WebSocket - Enabled or Disabled, and the Access Token needed to open the WebSocket app and listen to Kafka messages.
  • Variables - environment variables available in your scenarios. They are saved as you type and reach running scenarios after they are restarted.

The HTTP Security and WebSocket settings can be changed only while the instance is stopped; the variables can be edited at any time.

Logs​

This section provides access to logs for all running scenarios, filtered by level, time range and scenario. It’s useful for debugging and monitoring scenario behavior in real time.

Audit​

The Audit section allows you to track user actions within the system. You can view who accessed what, when, and what changes were made. This is especially useful for compliance and operational transparency.

Summary​

The Admin Panel in Nussknacker Cloud is where you manage your instance, monitor runtime metrics and maintain operational visibility; connections to external systems are configured in the Designer's Integrations view. It complements the Designer, allowing you to build and operate powerful real-time data applications with ease.
